Kyle Munns is an associate at Pabian & Russell, LLC concentrating in trusts and estates planning and administration. He counsels individuals and families to build, protect, and transfer their wealth with customized estate planning, business and tax strategies. He has experience in every facet of the estate planning process, from initial meetings to determine a client’s individual strategy, to drafting estate planning documents, to post-signing funding of trusts. He has drafted all manner of estate planning documents, such as wills, trusts, and more complex estate planning techniques. Kyle believes that regardless of wealth, it is important to have a comprehensive plan for passing your legacy on to loved ones, and has made estate plans for estates ranging in value from under $10,000 to over $15 million.
Prior to joining Pabian & Russell, Kyle worked at a Waltham law firm where he practiced trusts and estates planning. There, he was tasked with the reviewing and editing the estate planning documents of all junior associates. He was also involved in residential and commercial real estate, and corporate stock and asset sales. Before then, he practiced criminal defense with a boutique law firm in Providence, Rhode Island, and successfully argued in all Rhode Island District Courts, Traffic Tribunal, and Providence Superior Court.
Kyle earned his Bachelor of Arts in Social Science at Providence College, and his Juris Doctor from the University of Notre Dame Law School. He is admitted to practice law in both Rhode Island and Massachusetts, and serves on the Steering Committee of the Boston Bar Association’s Trusts and Estates Section. In 2018, Kyle was named to the Massachusetts Super Lawyers Rising Stars list.
Outside of the office, Kyle enjoys anything that involves being active, such as hiking, camping, skiing, and basketball. While at law school, he participated in Bengal Bouts, the largest amateur boxing tournament in the world. He also enjoys making music, playing the guitar, ukulele, and harmonica.
